You be the judge!?

Before you read the rest I should tell you a little more about myself. Both my parents are black, I live in a average, caucasian town and im mad popular as well smart. I face alot of racism everday. I just turned 14 and these rapper I know wants me to be on his label because he saw my songs before. Can you tell me if these lyrics are good for my interview? Please leave comments/corrections or any opinions, this is not a rap bashing question. Its bar/bar

Thank you

Day breaks loose on my life once more/Get up, get ready, and im out to war/And When I say war, im talking bout my life

/From where im from, only people like me have to face strife/ Everyone that lays eyes upon me/Judges me by the color of my skin/That’s a guarantee/It hurts inside, Lord only knows/But I keep it in, I don’t let it show/Because I’m proud of who I am/And Im gunna stay that way/Trying to change me/Is like raking leaves on a windy day

Half First verse only if you wanna c the rest email me or aim me blackdavidson6

You be the judge!?
I'm not being mean, cause I actually like it (maybe cause I am a writer myself), but the "average rap music listener" isn't in to that unless you are already well known, or cosigned by someone who is popular.

Depends on how you work it out, its your choice and only you know what is best for you!

Good luck!
