What is the right line for separation in Christianity?

So, you've made a decision.

You've said, "Jesus, I love you so much because you loved me so much I want to separate from the world and become more like you." So you drop your trashy clothes, you delete your trashy music, you completely purge of everything you think is bad, until...whoops!

There's that Christian rock CD. The lyrics are pretty deep, but the music gets you in the flesh and away from God. Or that certain article of clothing. It shows a little skin or it looks trashy, but it's SO COMFORTABLE. Or that favorite DVD. Sure, it has a few cuss words, but the overall story is positive?

Well, what do you do? Give me some answers.

What is the right line for separation in Christianity?
If it violates your cnocience, sure trash it

If you can have it and not comprimise you relationship with Christ, then keep it.

God is more important than the stuff;not vise versa.

If people are so into denying worldly possessions, I could always use a few thousand bucks. After all, it's just getting between you and god anyhow, right?
Reply:I think you've taken Pharisaical legalism to new and frightening heights there, my friend.
Reply:Your key is what you think is bad. You need to find what the Bible thinks is bad. The Lord never looks on the outside just the Spirit. He asks for your love and trust. You need to do what the Spirit leads you to do. You need to pray for guidance from the Holy Spirit.
Reply:You need to interpret the Bible and apply it to this day and age.
